Associate in Specialized Business Degree
Main and Phoenixville Campuses
This program will provide students with both classroom instruction and hands-on practical use of application software. Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate will be knowledgeable in the use of electronic spreadsheets, desktop publishing, word processing, databases, and graphics. This knowledge will provide the skills necessary to become competitive in the workplace.
This program offers a hands-on approach to the student's training, enabling students to graduate with a solid foundation in Computer Applications. As technology expands, jobs requiring computer skills will become more in demand, requiring applicants to obtain formal training. "I was originally interested in LSB because of its small class size and lifetime placement. I was afraid of getting out of school, with a degree, and not being able to work in my field. LSB helped me find a job in my field right after graduation. When the economy began declining, I was dealing with a layoff and trying to find a full time position was difficult. LSB offered me a part time to full time position, and I have been enjoying my time here ever since!"
